Liability for Content
The contents of our pages have been created with the utmost care. However, we cannot guarantee the contents' accuracy, completeness, or topicality. According to Section 7, paragraph 1 of the TMG (Telemediengesetz - German Telemedia Act), we as service providers are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with general laws. However, according to Sections 8 to 10 of the TMG, we as service providers are not obliged to monitor submitted or stored third-party information or to search for circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this respect is only possible from the time of knowledge of a concrete infringement. If we become aware of any such legal infringements, we will remove such content immediately.

Liability for Links
Our offer contains links to external third-party websites on whose contents we have no influence. Therefore, we cannot assume any liability for these external contents. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the contents of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. Illegal contents were not recognizable at the time of linking. However, a permanent control of the contents of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement. If we become aware of any legal infringements, we will remove such links immediately.

Copyright
The content and works created by the site operators on these pages are subject to German copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution, and any kind of exploitation outside the limits of copyright law require the written consent of the respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this site are only permitted for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the content on this site was not created by the operator, the copyrights of third parties are respected. In particular, third-party content is identified as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, we ask that you notify us accordingly. If we become aware of any infringements, we will remove such content immediately.

Privacy Policy (Updated Section)

1. Web Analytics via Umami

We use the open-source web analysis service Umami on this website for reach analysis and statistical evaluation of user behavior.

No Use of Cookies
In contrast to conventional analysis services, Umami does not use cookies and does not store any information in the local storage (LocalStorage) of your end device. No personal data is permanently stored that would allow conclusions to be drawn about your identity.

Data Collection and Anonymization
The collected data (e.g., visited pages, referrer URL, device type, browser version, screen resolution) is recorded anonymously. Your IP address is not stored but is merely used briefly to determine a rough geographical region and is subsequently discarded or irreversibly anonymized (hashed). No cross-site tracking takes place.

Legal Basis
The data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis and optimization of our website in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Since the service is configured to be privacy-friendly and does not set cookies, no consent (e.g., via a cookie banner) is required.

We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms in order to communicate with users active there and to inform them about our portfolio.

We do not use social media plugins (such as Like buttons or pixels) on our website that transmit data to the providers as soon as the page is loaded. Instead, we use simple links (hyperlinks/icons) to our profiles on:

  • GitHub (GitHub Inc., USA)

  • LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Ireland)

  • XING (New Work SE, Germany)

Data Transmission Only Upon Clicking
A connection to the servers of the respective social networks is only established when you actively click on one of the links. You will then be redirected to the website of the respective provider. From this point on, data processing is carried out by the respective provider (e.g., collection of your IP address by LinkedIn). We have no influence on the data processing there.

The respective privacy policies and opt-out options can be found on the providers' websites:

Hosting and Server Log Files

Hosting
We host our website on our own server (Root Server), which is technically provided by an external service provider. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the servers of this service provider. This may include IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, website access, and other data generated via a website.

The hoster is used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online offer by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We use the following hoster:
GamerzHost GmbH
Am Südpark 21
27607 Geestland
Germany

Server Log Files
The provider or the server managed by us automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

  • Hostname of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of their website as well as in ensuring security (e.g., to clarify acts of abuse or fraud) – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

Retention Period
The server log files are stored for a maximum period of 14 days and then deleted. Data whose further storage is required for evidentiary purposes is exempt from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
